Autism Assessment at Pipsqueak Psychology
Initial Consultation
In the initial consultation, we will talk through a developmental history and all concerns for your child. We will then consider which screening tools will be used and send them to you.
Diagnostic Assessments
At Pipsqueak Psychology, we use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule - second Edition (ADOS-2) and we use the Autism Diagnostic Interview - Revised (ADI-R) for Autism assessments.
These diagnostic tools are described as the 'Gold Standard' of assessments tools for Autism
Feedback Meeting
When our assessment is complete, we will have a meeting to talk through the findings and start to discuss the next steps for your child
Follow up
Further support and interventions are available depending on individualised needs and focussing on which specific targets you want to prioritise.
